Trips |
| We
can pack you in to just about anywhere you want to go on BLM
and USFS lands in the tri-state area. St. George, Utah is in
the middle of some spectacularly scenic areas. From high country
summer trips to desert trips we can do it for you. If you want
to bring your own saddle horses, this is fine as long as they're
in shape and experienced in the type of riding we'll be doing.
We can customize your pack trip to meet your needs. The Pine
Valley Mountain area is an especially beautiful and cool place
to go in the summer (only two hours from Las Vegas to the trailhead),
and is just north of St. George. |

We can
show you and tell you about the wildlife, the plants, and take
you to some good places to fish for Bonneville Cutthroat Trout.
Maybe you just want to ride our gentle mules and horses, look
at the scenery and relax, camping in high mountain meadows,
staying in wall tents and enjoying dutch oven cooking!
Day trips for photography, sight seeing, to learn about the
plants and animals, or just escaping the summer heat or the
winter cold can be accommodated just about anywhere in the tri-state
area. Let us know where you'd like to go, or let us plan an
enjoyable trip for you! |
If you really want to get away from it all, we offer day rides
and pack trips in to some very remote and beautiful wilderness
areas in northern Arizona, Nevada, and Utah. Examples are the
Paiute Wilderness, Grand Wash Cliffs Wilderness, Kanab Creek
Wilderness, Saddle Mountain Wilderness, and Mt. Moriah Wilderness.
If you like to see ancient bristlecone pine forests you will
love "the table" on Mt. Moriah. You probably won't see any other
people in these areas, and the scenery is spectacular! We can
pack hunters in to remote areas, and leave them for a specified
period of time, returning to pack them out with (hopefully)
their game. This service is called a drop camp.
As far as accommodations we utilize everything from wall tents
with wood stoves, "teepee tents" to backpacking type
tents, depending on the weather and the length of the trip.
Let us know
what you'd like and we'll make plans. |
