Mountain Lions
No matter what you call them, mountain lion, puma, or cougar we love to hunt them. We are passionate about it! We can hunt in most all conditions in three states. Unlike most lion guides we are not dependent on snow. We have top notch dry ground dogs that don't need snow to catch a lion. Of course, hunting in snow is a lot easier, but we don't have to wait for it to snow to successfully hunt them.

Most of our lion hunts involve riding mules through beautiful, rough country, while the hounds and your guides work hard to find lion sign. When we find a track, the fun begins! You never know where you'll end up or when you'll get home, but our sure-footed mules will usually get you right to the tree, or at least close to it.

Lion hunting can be the most exciting and physically demanding of all our hunts. It is often the hunting memory you will never forget. Commonly we'll be in the saddle for 8-10 hours, and there will be some walking. Hunters should be in good physical condition. We are equipped to hunt lions in all conditions, we have 4WD trucks, snowmobiles, 4 wheelers, and of course (our favorite) the mules.
