Colorland Outfitters is based in St. George, Utah in some of the most beautiful country in the southwest. We operate near many national parks, monuments and wilderness areas, such as the Grand Canyon National Park, Zion National Park, the newly established Grand Canyon Parashant National Monument, Pine Valley Wilderness Area, and Arizona's famous Kaibab plateau and the Arizona Strip. We are experienced, licensed and insured to guide you on hunts for Mountain Lion, Desert Bighorn Sheep, Mule Deer, Elk, Antelope, Turkey, and for small game species as well, in Utah, Nevada, and Arizona. We offer guided hunts as well as pack in drop camps in to wilderness areas. We have all the equipment to make a comfortable camp anyplace and utilize gentle, broke mules, and a few horses (we like mules better) to get you into the rugged back country.
If you are not the hunting type, but enjoy mules and horses, learning about plants and wildlife, stream fishing and pretty country, we offer pack trips and day trips into southwest Utah's beautiful Pine Valley Mountain. We also can pack you into many areas on the Arizona Strip, including the Kaibab Plateau, and the Grand Canyon - Parashant National Monument, and into areas in southern and eastern Nevada including the Mt. Moriah Wilderness Area, just north of Great Basin National Park. If you would like to see ancient Bristlecone Pine, with a trained naturalist, in a spectacular setting, Mt. Moriah is a must see.
